About the Author

Avery Winslow writes small-town love stories about the one who got away, and the second chance they never thought they’d get.

She believes in quiet forgiveness, front porch reunions, and the kind of love that lingers for years after the last kiss. Her books are sweet, emotional, and full of aching glances across crowded rooms. Always a little bit nostalgic. Always ending in hope.

Avery grew up in a town where everyone knew your name and your heartbreak. She once worked in a corner café, wrote stories on napkins, and kept a journal full of “what ifs.” Now she writes about them.

She drinks too much coffee, listens to the same three Taylor Swift songs on repeat when she writes, and still believes that true love always finds its way home, even if it takes a few detours.

If you’ve ever waited for someone who didn’t come back…

If you’ve ever heard an old song and suddenly remembered how it felt to be sixteen…

Avery writes for you.

  • “I didn’t cry. I sobbed. The good kind. The kind you save for something that finally says what you’ve always wanted to hear.”

    ~Jess A.

  • “These books don’t shout. They ache, whisper, and finally say the thing you’ve been waiting to hear your whole life. Avery Winslow just gets it.”

    ~Maggie W.

  • “The drawing in the book drop. The slow dance in the library. The whispered, ‘This time, I’ll read it out loud.’ I don’t think I’ll ever be over this series.”

    ~Julia L.
